Our Story
2018
We started our journey with a single pod of Philippines Cacao, amazed by its characteristics and health benefits, that's when we ventured into chocolate making. We believe that chocolates must be freshly made, handcrafted, and unwrap, produced in small batches, to bring out its distinctive different flavors and exceptional quality, unique aroma, texture and taste that are mouthwatering, ready to serve and relish.
Each unique recipe is concocted and crafted with passion and care. We will introduce new recipes every month for you to take pleasure with a delicious surprise of freshly made craft chocolates – we want you to enjoy again and again.
In every box you buy, you help local cacao farmers and create employment opportunities to out-of-school youth that undergo training in craft chocolate making hired in the production line, and at Purpleants Chocolatier stores.
The Pivot
Mid. 2019, Cats Motors Inc. provided the gateway for us to pivot the first Purple Ants Chocolatier store inside Mercedes-Benz showroom at Greenhills. The stores are operated by a small business enterprise, registered under the BMBE program of the Department of Trade and Industry.
